Gulliver's Travels

To tell the truth it is a little disappointed by a film. That such charming actor as Jack Black, has very much interested is involved. It was clear that it will be a fairy tale slightly altered in a new way. Sometimes such projects go right, sometimes aren't present. After viewing of this film I had mixed sensations. Like the kind, cheerful film would turn out. Also I can not tell that he is tightened. But all the same there were such moments which not so were pleasant. First, "toilet" jokes. No, I understand that they can be quite pertinent, but in other comedies where all humor on it and is constructed. Eventually it is a fairy tale, let already and altered, but all the same. To tell the truth didn't expect such from this film and consequently jokes about the lowered trousers and «a heroic act», connected with fire extinguishing, haven't made due impression.

Secondly, it seems to me that in the ending about world peace it was quite possible to replace a song with a simple monologue. And that so is made impression, what all over the world the problems connected with disagreements and quarrels between the nations, and dare — let's sing a song «That good in war?» And all will be good! Though execution of a song and Gulliver's dance were certainly an amusing show … Basically a genre allows, therefore strictly I don't judge.

As a whole a film not such the bad. As well as it is accepted in fairy tales, there is a love story, good and harm, morals lesson, but in modern jokes all the same have a little gone too far.
